The user-friendly Optio M60 features 10.0 effective megapixel resolution
and a 5X optical zoom in a stylish aluminum alloy body. It offers
high-speed Face Recognition as well as Smile Capture and Blink Detection to
capture perfect portraits. Plus, the new-generation Auto Picture Mode, with
eight shooting modes, makes photography even easier. Review your images
easily on the Optio M60’s 2.5-inch wide view LCD monitor.


10.0megapixel CCD assures high resolution images


The 5X optical zoom lens, covering an angle of view equivalent to
approximately 36 to 180 mm in 35 mm format makes is ideal for shooting a
broad spectrum of subjects, from landscapes to portraits.


High-speed Face Recognition AF & AE function detects up to 32 faces in
the picture frame in approx. 3 seconds, and automatically sets the optimal
exposure. Smile Capture automatically recognizes smiles and takes the
picture when a smile is detected while Blinking Detection warns you if the
subject blinked at the moment the shot was taken


Auto Picture mode lets the camera automatically determine the shooting
conditions for a total of 8 scenes – the most in this series – for
Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, Night Scene Portrait, Flower, Sport,
Candlelight and Standard modes, and chooses the optimum settings for each.


Digital SR (Shake Reduction) mode reduces the effect of camera shake and
blurring of the subject when photographing still images. The sensitivity is
adjusted automatically, to as high as the ultrahigh sensitivity of ISO
6400, to match the brightness of the subjects.


2.5 inch, wide view (approx. 170 degrees) LCD makes capturing and reviewing
images easy


Digital Wide mode merges two shots into one image in the camera for
ultra-wide-angle expressions equivalent to a focal length of approximately
28mm in 35mm format


Movie recording function with shake reduction with image quality rivaling
camcorders


Mode palette provides quick access to 24 shooting modes and 15 playback
modes


Panorama mode automatically stitches a series of three images into one wide
scene


Auto-Macro allows for close-up photography as near as 10cm without changing
the normal focusing mode


Frame composite function allows photographers to shoot and create images
with decorative frames - 80 built-in styles to choose from


Find images easily using either the folder display or easy-to-navigate
calendar display modes


Approximately 36.5MB of built-in memory
