2010-2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet review
With its innovative technology the E-Class Cabriolet makes open-roof driving possible in just about every season. The E-Class Cabriolet is the world's first car to incorporate the innovative AIRCAP® draught-stop system. The system deploys a wind deflector to reduce interior turbulence in all four seats. AIRCAP® sets new standards in terms of ease-of-use and acoustic comfort and is standard on all E-Class Cabriolet models. The AIRSCARF® neck-level system is integrated into the headrests of the front seats and blows warm air onto the front passengers' neck and shoulders. AIRSCARF® is standard on the E 350 and the E 500.
The E-Class Cabriolet is fitted with nine standard airbags, seatbelt pre-tensioners and belt force limiters on all seats and has a classic fabric soft top, that can be opened or closed fully automatically within 20 seconds – even when driving at speeds of up to 40 km/h.
