Samsung SyncMaster 971P review
The SAMSUNG SyncMaster™ 971P is a 19-inch analog and digital TFT/PVA-LCD
delivering a fast response time of 6ms (G to G), 1500:1 contrast ratio, 250
cd/m? brightness, 1280 x 1024 resolution and a 178/178 degree viewing
angle. It features SAMSUNG’s MagicBright ?™, MagicTune™ with
asset management, MagicColor™ and the Triple-hinge Magic Stand.
dynamic contrast 4000:1 - How can we make 4000:1 dynamic contrast ? Monitor
adjust its brightness and gamma of each frame and makes optimised contrast
between frames. Bright image: higher backlight with gamma control. Dark
image: lower backlight with gamma control.
MagicBright? - MagicBright? provides optimal combination setting for the
various contents for User working environment. With mouse, users can
control OSD easily.
MagicSpeed (6ms GTG) - By SAMSUNG’s own RTA(Response Time
Accelorator) technology, monitor supports fast response time to reduces
blurring image.
innovative power saving - DPMS (Digital Power Management System) +
Mechanical Power off Switch adopted. In DPMS mode, uses less than 1W in
stand-by mode.
MagicRotation and auto pivot - MagicRotation provides the user with a
rotation feature (0, 90 degree) that facilitates the optimum utilisation of
computer display screen. Auto Pivot Function has a special sensor to detect
the status monitor’s degree. Rotate monitor and then automatically rotate
contents without any control of S/W.
MagicTune - Control every OSD with mouse. MagicTune S/W provides convenient
software OSD interface. Enhanced OSD GUI improves interaction with user and
understanding of functions.
