Samsung SyncMaster 940UX review
The SAMSUNG SyncMaster™ 940UX is a 19-inch triple input (analog, digital,
and USB) TFT-LCD monitor delivering a fast response time of 5ms, DC 2000:1
contrast ratio, 0.294mm pixel pitch, 1280 x 1024 maximum resolution,
scanning frequency of 30-81 kHz horizontal and 56-75 Hz vertical, and
horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 160°/160°. The SyncMaster™ 940UX
features USB graphic interface using SAMSUNG UbiSync Technology with
support of other SAMSUNG Magic Technologies including MagicColor™ and
MagicBright?™.
UbiSync Technology - SAMSUNG UbiSync Technology allows the office users six
additional displays to their PC without complicated and expensive upgrade
options or having to open their PCs. - This allows a cost-effective
roll-out to corporate employees, and an easy upgrade for home office users.
MagicBright? - MagicBright? provides optimal combination setting for the
various contents for User working environment. With mouse, users can
control OSD easily.
MagicSpeed (5ms) - monitor supports fast response time to reduces blurring
image.
Dynamic Contrast 2000:1 - How can we make 2000:1 dynamic contrast? Monitor
adjust its brightness and gamma of each frame and makes optimised contrast
between frames. Bright image: higher backlight with gamma control. Dark
image: lower backlight with gamma control.
MagicRotation - MagicRotation provides the user with a rotation feature (0,
90 degree) that facilitates the optimum utilization of computer display
screen.
MagicTune - Control every OSD with mouse MagicTune S/W provides convenient
software OSD interface. Enhanced OSD GUI improves interaction with user and
understanding of functions.
