Samsung HT-C5500 review
The Samsung HT-C5500 5.1 channel, Blu-ray/DVD/CD Home Theatre with 1000
watts power output opens up a new dimensions in surround sound. It features
enhanced content sharing and connectivity with BD Live and Internet@TV; an
easy way to access online content without having to turn on your PC, and
DLNA allows you to wirelessly connect with compatible portable devices. The
iPod®/iPhone® docking cradle increases your audio/video playback and
connectivity options, and with USB Host Play various multimedia files can
be played without the need for a PC.
High Definition Audio For the ultimate audio experience in up to 7.1 ch,
Samsung Blu-ray players can decode or bit stream Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
Master Audio. These advanced HD audio formats provide lossless audio that
is bit-for-bit identical to the studio master delivering a surreal surround
sound experience.
Smart Volume levels things out Some channels are louder than others. As if
that weren’t enough, volume often varies between the program and
commercials, not to mention between action scenes and dialog within the
program. But Samsung’s Smart Volume technology lets you make
adjustments and determine settings so that volume levels are evened out and
you can enjoy your favourite shows, movies and sports without constantly
fussing with the remote.
BD Live with 1 GB Built-in Memory BD Live (Blu-ray Profile 2.0) enables you
to download additional content and interactive features directly to your
Blu-ray player via internet connection with BD Live supported disks. 1 GB
of internal memory is included to support this function.
HDMI TM with Anynet+ A true plug and play product, HDMI TM enables you to
connect you HD video and audio with one simple cable. The Anynet +
(HDMI-CEC) feature allows you to operate multiple supported HDMI TM
products with a single remote.
AllShare TM (DLNA Certified) The HT-C5530 is DLNA certified and allows to
wirelessly connect with other compatible DLNA devices. That means you can
share movies, photos and music all through a single device.
