Full HD 1080p blu-ray disc player With blu-ray Full HD (and 24 frames per
second) playback, you get every single pixel out of a film possible.

BD Wise This advanced technology takes DVD up-conversion to the next level

USB 2.0 All SAMSUNG blu-ray players include two USB 2.0 ports (1 front / 1
rear). These inputs enable playback of multimedia files, firmware updates,
WiFi connectivity and memory support for BD Live.
Ethernet connectivity Stay connected and up-to-date with the
BD-P1600’s advanced networking abilities. Ethernet connectivity
allows you to download firmware updates for your blu-ray player ensuring
compatibility with the latest BD movie releases. Additionally this Ethernet
port also enables future networking interactivity available from blu-ray.
high definition audio For the ultimate audio experience in up to 7.1ch,
SAMSUNG blu-ray players can decode or bitstream Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD
Master Audio. These advanced HD audio formats provide lossless audio that
is bit-for-bit identical to the studio master delivering a surreal surround
sound experience.
BD Live Ready BD Live (Blu-ray profile 2.0) enables you to download
additional content and interactive features directly to your Blu-ray player
via internet connection with BD Live supported discs. Additional USB memory
(not included) with a minimum capacity of 1 GB is required to support this
function.
HDMI™ Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) You’re in full command with the BD-P1600.
Anynet+ delivers streamlined, one-touch control over all your Anynet
compatible connected devices such as the TV, AV receiver, and home theatre.
You can operate all of them with a single remote control that enables
commands to be passed among devices within the system. A true "plug
and play" product, it comes with a Consumer Electronics Control (CEC)
feature that lets you operate SAMSUNG HDMI products with a single remote
control.
WiFi Ready Connect to the internet wirelessly with the addition of a
SAMSUNG wireless USB dongle (available separately) Download firmware
updates and BD Live content seamlessly without the need for an Ethernet
cable or jack.
