The new STR-DA5200ES multi-room AV receiver makes HD content complete by creating a listening experience that's just as engaging as the picture you watching. The new DA5200ES receiver is compatible with the latest Blu-Ray™ (BD) video format, allowing switching of video signals at up to 1080p resolution and playback of up to 8 channels of uncompressed (LPCM) audio. To further enhance the HD experience, the DA5200ES receiver features HD Up-conversion using Faroudja's "DCDi Cinema" technology. This means that normal TV or video signals (576i) can now be up-converted to most resolution standards (up to 1080p*) and sent out via the receiver's HDMI or component video outputs. Features:
