The name is a little bit familiar, and so is the badge on the front. The spiritual successor to the original FJ40 returns, infused with over 50 years of 4WD heritage: FJ Cruiser from Toyota. FJ Cruiser has the same legendary off-road abilities, Toyota's famous rugged durability, but now with a totally new attitude for Australia.
For over 50 years, the 'Cruiser' name has been the benchmark for indestructibility and offroad capability around the world. Decades of torture-testing, spanning every continent, combined with Toyota's passion for off-road excellence has made the FJ Cruiser what it is today.
FJ Cruiser begs to be chucked into the toughest terrain. Under the welded steel body are adaptations of the same tough and tested boxed steel ladder frame and suspension systems found on the LandCruiser Prado. A solid rear axle with a ?ve-link coil-spring system combined with serious wheel articulation all add up to genuine off-road agility.
Features:
4.0-litre V6 petrol engine giving a heart-racing 200kW of power and 380Nm of torque
High-performance part-time 4WD with double wishbone front and torsion bar/coils at rear for excellent ground clearance.
Distinctive, uniquely rugged design with reverse-hinged rear access doors, heavy-duty D pillars and over fenders for tough durability
Wide-bodied and versatile interior with water-resistant seating, and easy-clean rubber ?oor.
