Hot, that's not a word one would say about an SUV, but it's fitting for the Mitsubishi Outlander. The Outlander's standard 3.0 litre 220 horsepower MIVEC V-6 engine combined with the six speed Sportronic transmission that provides lightning quick shifts and operates entirely from the steering wheel, and you have the power to go just about anywhere. What's even more shocking is that the Outlander gets an estimated 32 km/litre city and 44 km/litre highway. The Mitsubishi Outlander's interior is designed to provide comfort for those long drives or those off-road jaunts. With seating for up to 7, the Outlander's seats are designed with Non-Phenol Felt; this reduces the formation of compounds and reduces lingering odors. The audio system is integrated into the 8 inch LCD touch screen navigation system, that has a 30 GB hard drive space and DVD capability as well as information about the entire vehicle all at the touch of your fingertips! There is even a Bluetooth phone integration available. Another well designed feature is the steering wheel mounted controls for not only the audio system but the navigations system. The Outlander is also designed well for off-road use, with the touch of a button you can engage the 4-wheel drive system that transfers just the right amount of power to each wheel to ensure you have the best traction available. Not only does the 4-wheel drive system help ensure your safety when the road conditions get bad, but the Outlander has both driver and passenger front airbags as well as roll-over and side curtain airbags. The ABS anti-lock brakes help ensure you stop?and stop straight. Crumple zones, and a collapsible steering column.Model Range:
