2007-2012 Audi S6 review
The wider front wings and the S-specific design front end including the S6 emblem stand out right away. The eye slides across the shape of the vehicle and picks out the most striking feature: the daytime running lights in the form of an LED strip at the top edge of the side air inlets. Just as noticeable are the exterior mirrors in aluminium look with integrated LED turn signals, which emphasise the sporty nature of the Audi S6.In addition to the familiar benefits of quattro, the four-wheel drive with asymmetric/dynamic torque distribution ensures even more efficiently that the high driving forces reach the tarmac precisely where they will have most effect. That means more agility in tight and rapidly changing corners, whether on a wet country road or a snow-covered surface. This advanced quattro four-wheel drive displays its qualities in a way that is appropriate for a quattro: continuously, efficiently and virtually anywhere.The braking system of a sports car is at least as important as the power output and torque of the engine. After all, the braking capability of the Audi S6 is just as impressive as its acceleration figures. The 18-inch high-performance braking system holds its 320 kW (441PS) in check at any moment as required.
