2004-2012 Volkswagen Golf review
The Golf is available with a range of savvy comfort features: Chillable glove box, rain sensor, automatic dimming rear view mirror, coming home function, air conditioning, multifunction steering wheel, entertainment...good luck getting the dealer out from behind the wheel. To discuss performance and the Golf you really need to talk about the safety chassis and all the high tech handling technology. However, to do that you need to mention things like the stiffness, vibrational behaviour and dynamics of the chassis; the lateral stiffness of the MacPherson front suspension; the innovative multilink rear axle's dynamics, and the electro-mechanical power steering...but that could take all day. Instead we're just going to say what it means for you: the most agile, stable, efficient, comfortable and safe drive available in its class.Part of being passionate about cars is (let's face it), the love of power. At Volkswagen, though, we don't believe that power should corrupt by being loud, polluting and uneconomical. That's why we've fitted the Golf with the latest fuel injection systems which optimise combustion, reduce exhaust emissions and increase torque and power - all while improving economy astronomically. Put simply, the Golf delivers pure, unadulterated power. When it comes to the safety of the Golf, we're going to let the results do the talking: the Golf was awarded a total of 12 stars for its crash safety, pedestrian protection and child protection. Other vehicles including those in heavier, more expensive luxury classes have not received ratings this high. Need we say more?Model Range:
