The Peugeot 207 engines offer exceptional performance in terms of torque and acceleration while keeping noise levels to a minimum. Two 1.4-litre engines are available, plus a 1.6-litre and two 1.6-litre turbo engines, which were born out of a partnership between PSA Peugeot and the BMW Group. The direct injection 1.6l engines with a low-pressure twin-scroll turbocharger, found in the 207 GT (110kW) and the GTi (128kW), offer exhilerating performance with high maximum torque available from extremely low revs, virtually eliminating any turbo lag.Adding to your choice is the availability of an HDi diesel engine inthe 207. Our 1.6-litre HDi diesel engine mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox offers striking performance with high torque and a low-pressure turbocharger, amazing fuel economy which means you won't have to fill up nearly as much as you're used to, and a feel good factor thanks to lower emissions and the FAP particle filter.
