BMW introduces the perfect marriage. The heart and soul of the award-winning M3 Coup? mated to the body of the stylish and luxurious four-seater 3 Series Convertible. This is no simple transplant of the M3 Coup?'s running gear into the Convertible's body. BMW has further stiffened and refined the car to cope with a substantial increase in performance for superlative comfort and response. How does 5.5 seconds to 100km/h and a top speed of 250km/h sound for an open-top car? The M3 Coup? donates its advanced, muscular 3.2 litre 252kW six-cylinder engine and its close ratio six-speed manual or the lightning-quick F1-inspired SMGII sequential gearbox, complete with steering wheel mounted paddle-shifts. The chassis features the famed M performance suspension, Dynamic Stability Control and unique Variable M Differential Lock, as well as M high-performance brakes to deliver outstanding athleticism in an open-top car. The M3 Convertible provides not only limitless headroom, but also a strong, rigid and secure body with powered front seats complete with integrated seat belts and a rear seat-mounted rollover protection system. The lined, powered roof boasts a scratchproof glass window. The Convertible's body has been widened and lowered to accommodate 18-inch light alloy M3 wheels and dynamic sports suspension. The cabin is trimmed in Nappa leather, with features including a multi-function sports steering wheel, six-disc CD changer and Hi-Fi system, washers for the Bi-Xenon headlights, an alarm, Park Distance Control and an on-board monitor with TV. For discerning drivers, the M3 Convertible provides the ultimate answer.
