The COOLPIX L19 and L20 are high performance, compact digital cameras that
feature the precision optics of a NIKKOR lens and the image quality and
performance benefits of Nikon’s exclusive EXPEED?„? advanced
digital image processing system technologies for brilliant photo results
with simplified operation. The COOLPIX L19 and L20 offer a variety of
advanced functions that simplifies picture taking. Activated in Easy Auto
Mode, Nikon?€™s Scene Auto Selector makes capturing special moments as
easy as turning on the camera and shooting without worrying about any
settings. Nikon?€™s Smart Portrait System (combining Face-priority AF,
Smile Mode, Blink Warning and In-Camera Red-Eye Fix) is a handy function
that helps capture precious smiles. Motion Detection, Nikon?€™s BSS
(Best Shot Selector) function and ISO 1600 capability help ensure sharper
results in low-light conditions or when capturing fast-moving subjects.
Controls are sized and placed to ensure intuitive operation, such as
dedicated buttons on the top of the body that makes it easy to switch
between shooting and playback modes. Large high-resolution 2.7-in. (L19)
and 3-in. (L20) LCD monitors offer a bright image that is a pleasure to
view, even outdoors. The contours of the large thumb rest and the body
itself assure a solid grip. The COOLPIX L19 and L20 make full use of their
respective 8.0 and 10.0 megapixels of imaging power to capture true-to-life
colour with plenty of resolution for creative cropping or to produce
enlargements, while the 3.6x Zoom-NIKKOR lens covers a practical focal
range that can capture everything from group shots to close-up portraits.
The COOLPIX L19 will be available in bright silver and magenta; the COOLPIX
L20 will be available in gloss red and black.
