Delivering network capability and audiophile sound, the Marantz SR5006 7.1
Home Theater Receiver is an ideal media center for any home theater system.
With Marantz’s classic "star and circle" front display, the
receiver offers both style and comprehensive features, including an
Ethernet port, six HDMI inputs, and playback of the latest hi-definition
audio formats. Two audio zones and additional support for Bluetooth devices
make the SR5006 a powerful and versatile solution for all your home theater
and music listening needs. AirPlay allows for wireless music streaming from
any room in your home. Networking Capability for Music StreamingBuilt-in
networking functionality makes the SR5006 an ideal media center. The
Ethernet port lets you stream audio from online music services, such as
Pandora, Rhapsody, and Napster, as well as from your home network.
Additionally, built-in AirPlay allows you to stream music wirelessly from
your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. You can also access Internet radio
stations with the built-in v-Tuner. As an added convenience, the
SR5006’s two-zone capability lets you listen to music in one room
while playing a movie in another. Although this product is equipped to
operate with Rhapsody and Pandora, these services are not currently

Wizard Simplifies SetupThe receiver features auto setup and room
calibration and allows you to navigate setup on your TV screen via HDMI.
Plug in the included calibration microphone, place it in your favorite
seat, and run the setup wizard. The Audyssey MultEQ-XT automatically
analyzes your room’s acoustic properties to determine the optimal
settings. If you wish, you can manually fine-tune individual settings, such
as bass, treble, speaker distance, and other properties. Seven Audio

experience, the SR5006’s amplifier delivers seven 100-watt channels
of equal power and quality. The result is a balanced sound field capable of

DTS-HD Master audio, the SR5006’s on-board decoding reproduces clear,
7.1 audio via HDMI. There’s also a 192kHz/24-bit digital-to-analog
converter for all channels and an isolated audio circuit board for improved
sound and minimal interference. Source Direct mode switches off all unused
circuitry for the purest audio possible. M-XPort for Bluetooth DevicesEnjoy

phones, using the M-XPort input. By connecting an RX101 Bluetooth receiver
module (sold separately) to the SR5006, you can wirelessly stream audio
