Canon's iR C4080 is not only a fast multifunctional network printer. It's also very smart, with the ability to drastically improve the way you create and distribute documents.Convert hard-copy documents into manageable digital files for sending to one or many destinations with Canon's optional colour Universal Send feature. In simply one step, you can e-mail a document to an individual or group, save to a network, store in your personal mailbox on the imageRUNNER's 80GB hard disk, fax as a hard-copy, or send to a file on your desktop. And Canon supports the widest range of file formats of any manufacturer. As well as the standard file formats such as PDF, PDF Compact, JPEG and TIFF, Canon's Universal Send offers powerful enhancements such as Trace and Smooth PDF which converts text and line art into outlines that can be edited with Adobe Illustrator. Digital signatures can also be attached to your PDF files that instantly identify you and the originating device to the recipient.
