Unique to the Australian market, this Infostop Micro Cut security level 4 office shredder will shred up to 15 pages into 2x10 mm particles. But the high security shredding doesn't stop there as the IS8340C also tears through "Optical Media" CD's/DVD's/High Density Blu-ray discs and Credit Cards exactly the same. This capability is usually exclusive only on much larger security level 4 office shredders.
Operator comfort has been well thought through with the LCD display and control switch placed at the front region of the shredder body for convenient under bench placement. The LCD display informs the operator of the shredders operational status at all times.
Of course safety is also very high on the priorities list with bin open sensor that stops the shredder operating while open. A cleverly designed feed element plays a dual purpose role with two feed slots in one - for paper and optical media, credit/smart/member cards and the like. The trajectory of the optical media feeder stops any splintering for added user safety.
This shredder is incredibly quiet and at times you don't think it's running, of course it actually is. Latest "Micro Cut" shredding technology has delivered real benefits to users and this shredder, due to it's quietest operation can be placed close to the paper source – no need to worry about noise with the Infostop IS8340C, it's almost non existent.
DocuFlow - No Jam Shredding Technology, standard on the Infostop IS8340C office shredder prevents paper jams happening. Similar to ABS brakes on cars, it is impossible to "Lock Up" your shredder with a paper jam.How Easy Is That!
Although the Infostop IS8340C is a compact shredder, its cabinet is on castors for easy mobility, weighing in at over 20kg that's just as well.
The Infostop IS8340C includes a full enclosure cabinet, which adds to this shredders very smart and professional appearance. The cabinet design keeps shredded particles contained and tidy. The full enclosure cabinet also keeps dust emissions to a minimum.
