For those who are serious about sound, the HDRSR12 enhances the recording experience by allowing you to connect a powered external microphone to the camera. Monitoring audio levels is also made easier thanks to the external headphone jack. Simply attach your favourite pair of headphones (using a standard 3.5mm plug) and you can instantly hear what you are recording. Face Detection. Face Detection technology ensures that family and friends captured with HDRSR12 are always shown at their best! When the camera detects a human face it automatically adjusts focus, colour control and brightness to ensure that faces are always clear and sharp.
