The introduction of the latest quattro permanent all-wheel drive system brings even greater agility. From its powerful engine to its rugged and redefined standard suspension, the new A6 allroad is all that a luxury touring car should be.With the adaptive air suspension you can raise the entire body by up to 6 cm. This means that it can adapt outstandingly well to almost any surface. Depending on the type of terrain you can choose between five different modes: dynamic, automatic, comfort, allroad and lift – with ground clearance of up to 18.5 cm. Whichever you choose you will always enjoy a high level of ride comfort.quattro permanent all-wheel drive assists driving on difficult terrain. If a wheel spins, the excess force is diverted by means of an electronic differential lock to the wheels with better traction. Away from metalled roads you simply switch to the off-road mode of the electronic stabilisation program (ESP). It offers greater drive and brake slip, as well as controlled traction and braking characteristics. This means that not only do you enjoy a comfortable ride, you are also flexible.
The Audi A6 allroad offers up to 1,660 litres of load space. You can stow much more than just a couple of suitcases in here. The basis for the wide variety of conversion options is the rail system that is used in the Audi A6 allroad. Two rails run the entire length of the load area. Four lashing eyes supplied as standard can be moved up and down these rails and locked in position. Any load can be securely lashed in place in the luggage compartment with the aid of these eyes. The luggage compartment floor in the Audi A6 allroad is flexible. It can be tipped up, folded away to the rear or removed entirely. Underneath it there is an easily cleaned dirt-resistant tray. Optionally available: a load-securing kit made up of a telescopic bar and a retaining strap, and a load-through hatch in the rear seat backrest for long and bulky items.
