2007-2012 Mazda CX-9 review
The new CX-9 will carry your whole life with ease. Safety, flexibility and plenty of space are just the start. It's the style, performance and absolute luxury which makes the CX-9 the perfect seven-seater.Quick and easy 3rd row passenger access, and an adjustable 2nd row ensure the CX-9 is no pretender. With features such as three-zone climate control air-conditioning, the new CX-9 ensures a comfortable journey for seven, regardless of whether your journey is long or short.A 3.7 litre V6 engine that produces 204kW of power and sports car derived suspension system, results in performance levels unseen in the SUV segment, until now.Directed through a smooth shifting 6-speed Activematic transmission and Mazda’s advanced Active Torque Split All-Wheel Drive system, enabling you to get the most out of the engine’s performance and provide you with added traction in all driving conditions. CX-9’s suspension system is the same as that used in the CX-7 for that added sports performance feel.
The CX-9 is packed with safety features; large disc brakes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) along with further advanced safety features such as Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Traction Control System (TCS) and Roll Stability Control (RSC).
Of course front, side and curtain SRS airbags covering all 3 rows, 3-point lap/sash seatbelts all round and a reverse camera are included and are specifically designed to protect what’s most important to you.
