2003-2008 Renault M?gane Sedan review
Most Australians probably think that a sophisticated, high-performance European sedan is out of their reach. With the M?gane Sedan, Renault proves that it isn't.
From the outside, the M?gane Sedan is a classic European. Stylish, elegant, with a perfect finish. Inside, the quality continues with superb seats, generous leg and shoulder room, and all the controls in easy reach.
The Megan Sedan is comes with a choice of a 2.0 litre VVT multi-valve engine is smooth or Renault's new turbo-charged 1.9 litre dCi engine. Whichever you choose, you'll experience an engine that is smooth but powerful, responsive but refined, exhilarating but exceptionally economical (That's F1 breeding for you).
The steering adapts automatically to the speed you're travelling, though all you'll notice is that you're in total control. Even the headlights and wipers think for themselves; special sensors turn them on whenever they're needed.
Of course, being a Renault, both essential safety features are built in. So things like an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS ), equipped with Electronic Brake Distribution and Brake Assist, and the new Electronic Stability Program (ESP), are standard on Phase 2.
