2007-2011 Volkswagen Caddy Maxi Life review
Comfortable featuresThere's even more passenger-friendly features in the Caddy Maxi Life. The new climatronic dual-zone air conditioning system keeps the cabin at your preferred temperature, while trapping allergens in its pollen filter. The RCD310 radio system has CD, MP3 and AUX-IN functionality, plus a large Multi-Function Display that can be programmed through the 3-spoke, leather trimmed steering wheel. And while you enjoy these features, you can relax in the height adjustable driver and front passenger seats, complete with height and length adjustable centre armrest and "Cheyenne" fabric upholstery.
Premium styleIt's had a bit of a makeover. The Caddy Maxi Life now comes in a new range of colours that spread across its bumpers, door handles, door mirror housings and license plate holders. To highlight its new look, there's also chrome trim encasing the fog lamps, split radiator grille and above the rear license plate. To top it off, there's dark-tinted glass on the passenger windows, and 16" Siracusa alloys for the wheels, with the option of 17" Zolder alloy wheels.
TDI enginesThe Maxi Life's TDI engines feature a common-rail direct-injection turbocharger, providing low diesel fuel consumption and low CO2 emissions. Opt for the economical TDI250 engine, with 75kW of power and 250Nm of torque, or go for the TDI320, delivering 103kW of power and an impressive 320Nm of torque. There's also the option of DSG transmission; 7-speed for the TDI250 and 6-speed DSG as standard for the TDI320.
