2007-2012 Renault Grand Sc?nic review
GRAND SC?NIC. Seven seats, unlimited versatility.
The Grand Sc?nic is the logical extension of a great idea. It’s got everything the Phase II Sc?nic offers, plus something that can come in very handy if the kids want to take along a friend or the grandparents join you for an outing: two extra seats.
But the Grand Sc?nic is more than just a Sc?nic with two extra seats jammed in. It’s a totally recreated car, with a longer wheelbase so the two seats in the back have plenty of room. The seats also fold away neatly, without taking away any of the added luggage space. And that’s another of the Grand Sc?nic’s special features.
The second row of seats can all be folded over or taken out completely, leaving you with a flat area big enough to accommodate just about anything you need to transport.
So it’s a seven seater. Or a five seater with a big luggage area. Or a four or three seater with an even bigger luggage area. Or, now and then, it can be a particularly stylish and high-performing cargo carrier. The possibilities are endless. And so is the pleasure you’ll get driving it.
