Nuk Soother review
Why NUK is not round...
The NUK shape is based on studies undertaken by Dr.med.dent. A.M?ller and Prof.Dr.Dr. W.Balters. The NUK shape simulates the nipple during breastfeeding, following nature's example, and this demands hard work on baby's part. If, on the other hand, the feed is ingested without requiring any effort, baby may, as a consequence, develop malformations of the jaw and teeth.
Every surface of the soother counts
A baby sucks, quite simply, because the baby enjoys it; it's stimulating and they have a natural urge to suck to help develop their jaw area. Therefore, the NUK soothers are perfect to provide to a baby as they are designed to fit a baby's mouth most comfortably and is proportioned precisely. Anatomically shaped it has the same planes, surfaces and function of the NUK teat. A baby's tongue lies flat, the lips are able to close, and the baby's jaw moves back and forth freely.
